Hello everyone, it's taken some time to get the library in a suitable state for you all but I wanted to introduce myself and clarify a few things. I'm Broderick, the Head librarian and we're more than happy to help you with your research needs.

To take any book out of the library, you must have a library card. I'm told you can just submit a photo here and pick it up later, or you can come by the desk and we can get you sorted. You get 2 weeks. I'll come for them personally if you don't bring them back in a timely manner.

The librarians are happy to assist you any way they can, but the card catalogue and computers are also self serve and accessible to you.

No eating in the library. If I catch you, I'll break your hand. Water is permitted if in a sealed bottle, or spelled to be unspillable.

Yes the photocopier is cursed, don't ask.

No you cannot get into the Restricted Section without a librarian or permission.

You will be shushed if you're not respectful of others.

It contains the rare, older books that must be handled delicately. It also houses the cursed and dangerous texts, so it's really for everyone's safety.

What hours does the library keep?

We do, it's a small collection though. They're fairly behind on digitized material so if we don't have it online I can see about getting it done for you. Are you looking for something in particular?

I've never thought of anything I would want to inscribe on my body permanently.
