Hello everyone, it's taken some time to get the library in a suitable state for you all but I wanted to introduce myself and clarify a few things. I'm Broderick, the Head librarian and we're more than happy to help you with your research needs.

• To take any book out of the library, you must have a library card. I'm told you can just submit a photo here and pick it up later, or you can come by the desk and we can get you sorted. You get 2 weeks. I'll come for them personally if you don't bring them back in a timely manner.


• The librarians are happy to assist you any way they can, but the card catalogue and computers are also self serve and accessible to you.


• No eating in the library. If I catch you, I'll break your hand. Water is permitted if in a sealed bottle, or spelled to be unspillable.


• Yes the photocopier is cursed, don't ask.


• No you cannot get into the Restricted Section without a librarian or permission.


• You will be shushed if you're not respectful of others.

oh my god, i'm SO embarrassed i missed orientation. i flew in on my broom but there was this HORRIBLE winter storm that knocked us off course.
