I do kind of want to try again on my own. I just don't want to get stuck in the astral plane indefinitely.

I don't think you can get stuck indefinitely. But you could always ask Broderick for tips. He wouldn't steer you wrong.

I don’t know. I don’t see much point in hedging my words to spare people’s feelings. It’d be so much easier if everyone was just honest about their opinions.
