One of my god kids is convinced I don't have any friends so: Is anyone up for finding the best local brewery? Or seeing a sports thing in Toronto? Or starting a trivia team? An escape room? A hobby club where we try something new every week? [...] These suggestions might be why she's concerned about me.

Christ. No. If you want to stay with a gel, ballpoint, or rollerball pen, then Pentel Energel or Zebra is the best brand. If you want to venture out into fountain pen territory, I have a list suggestions.
