Because I know this will be devastating to many of you: the local coffee shop down the street is turning into a Starbucks.

[KNOWLEDGE DEPARTMENT]

For those new to the Department, I hope you're settling in well. A reminder that I'm available if you should have any questions, and also that the lounge conversation pit is deceptively deep. We'll get an outing scheduled for the lot of us soon, I'm open to suggestions.

I'd also like to gage your interest about this Department and Society hosting a symposium or conference. The breadth of knowledge and discovery shared here should not be contained. I think it could be an opportunity for Quest to start holding an annual one, with the different satellite societies taking turns to host. It will draw more experts and those enthusiastic about Adventuring, while also giving eachother an opportunity to share and improve, maybe even develop professionally.
