WHO: Anyone who wants to come!

WHERE: HQ's Beach Room.
WHAT: TGIF! Everyone is invited to a Beach Day for a Beach Off. Maya finds a magical seashell.

BEACH DAY
Cadmus Scantlebury has decided you've all earned a Beach Day to boost morale (Don't think too hard about any of the little hiccups you've experienced so far! It's fine, everything's fine!).
HQ's special Beach Room is completely indoors, but it seems very much like a real beach in every way—the artificial sun is bright and warm, the artificial ocean is clear and appears to go on forever, and there are even seagulls present that will try to steal your food out of your hand. All in all, it's a nice reprieve from the relentless grey cold of Toronto, and perhaps a good opportunity for residents that are usually nocturnal to enjoy some "daylight" without any ill effects.
Fruity summer cocktails, refreshments of all sorts, and BBQ is all provided. Relax, go for a swim, get drunk, eat too much, let loose, do whatever you want. Enjoy!

SKILL LEVEL: 4 apparently
STRATEGY/ANYTHING ELSE?: Cinder has in fact never surfed before but Dice Maiden says she's a natural. Maybe she has really good balance.

The judges' reviews of Cinder's surfing were extremely favourable! Siberee and Hippolyta cheered her on, shouting with delight. They even made her a sign. Bonaventure yawned and barely paid attention. What a jerk.

STRATEGY/ANYTHING ELSE?: This is Moff's first time surfing EVER!! He's having so much fun!! Listen to his chirping and buzzing!! :-)

STRATEGY/ANYTHING ELSE?: Dick figures if he can fly he surely can do this. His bat wings are out to help him with his balance because what are rules anyway.

STRATEGY/ANYTHING ELSE?: He has never surfed before and is nonetheless going to attempt it with a cocktail in hand.

STRATEGY/ANYTHING ELSE?: Broderick has never surfed before, but he's always wanted to try. Surf ghosts are giving him tips in his ears and he's athletic enough so why the hell not.

SKILL LEVEL: 5, baby.
STRATEGY/ANYTHING ELSE?: Ya girl doesn't usually spend a lot of time in the sun because it, like, hurts, but this is surprisingly fine?? And fun?? She's ballsy as fuck on the surfboard and any time she thinks she's about to crash, she just goes shadow mode and dips out. No pain, all gain!!

The judges' reviews of Barbie's surfing were split—Siberee thought it was one of the best performances she'd seen all day! Hippolyta and Bonaventure were a little drunk by this point and spent the whole time bickering at one another. Not Barbie's fault that the judges couldn't put their personal issues aside.
Barbie's total score is 42.
SURFING CONTEST: Adzuki
SKILL LEVEL: 3??
STRATEGY/ANYTHING ELSE?: Like many of her peers she has never surfed before, but she also has cat balance and is unashamed, so maybe that'll help her out. She is clearly having fun, like always.

Bonaventure enthusiastically tells her that she is a far better surfer than any of his children. Hippolyta's consumed with jealousy when she sees how cool Adzuki looks.

SURFING CONTEST: Stela
SKILL LEVEL: 2
STRATEGY/ANYTHING ELSE?: Stela does stunts on her broom and she's also very good at rollerskating. Surfing on rollerskates, though...... now, that's novel!! And seems like it'd be REALLY cool and impressive and perhaps even sexy if she can pull it off.
She has the confidence of a 5 but the skills of a 2.
