I'd like to invite any of the Quest Fellows (and the rest of Adventure Society) to join the Adventure Society Knowledge Department for trivia this Tuesday. It's an opportunity for us all to get to know eachother better outside of this building -- a different, probably less bloody kind of sparring, if any of you are game.

[KNOWLEDGE DEPARTMENT]
Good Morning everyone. You may have already seen the newest addition to our lounge - asuspiciousgift from the Administration* to help facilitate "better comradery and culture, my dudes." I am hoping it makes our lounge a more welcoming place for you all. You're all brilliant with a lot to share with eachother...and frankly us nerds need to stick together. [...] I've already been made aware that the cushions are incredible deep and fluffy, and that one intern has already disappeared into it and had to be retrieved. Please be careful.
Some reminders and announcements:
- Departmental Meetings will be occurring once a month on Wednesdays. We'll try the next one in the conversation pit
if no one is swallowed by it, but otherwise, they'll continue to be held in the employee lounge. Knowledge Department Heads will still be meeting weekly on Mondays.- Ainslie Grey will be my new assistant. Please include her on any e-mails to me related to the Department.
- We're incredibly lucky to have Barbie join the Library staff as the newest Night Librarian - welcome Barbie! As the library spellwork begins to settle, we will be looking to hire more librarians.
- The Departmental field trip to the grand opening of Godzilla: King Of Monsters at the ROMM (Royal Ontario Museum of Magic) is later this month. If anyone has suggestions of somewhere to go for dinner and drinks after, just let Ainslie know.

I've been speaking with Elliot, the Head Librarian for Quest Fellowship, and he was incredibly helpful with answering some of the questions we've had [ooc: pretend that Broderick is sharing this as a compiled list of information]
In particular he's shared these safety guidelines (ooc: we don't have guidelines so just assume reasonable typical workplace safety ones) for all authorized Questing Associations, guidelines he says Scantlebury was expelled for when the Society members went missing. As you can see, there's also considerable personal animosity. Has anyone learned anything else? I'm still trying to meet with Baudelaire - was anyone more successful with that?

[KNOWLEDGE]
It does look very comfy. Thank you.
Congrats Ainslie and Barbie!
[SNOOP TROOP]
Do we trust him? He's English.
To be honest, all of this seems like Baudelaire was entirely justified in kicking him out. Do you think he knows more about what happened to Turquoise & co?

Would you say it's generally collegial to humiliate and wipe the floor with our superior knowledge, or should I at least offer to buy them all a round before?
[SNOOP TROOP]
Believe me, I had the same thought. He's from the Midlands though, so in this case, and the fact that he's incredibly clever and well-dressed, I think we give him a pass.
I agree and frankly if he's been putting multiple cohorts of employees at risk for decades, as Adrian said before, we need to let the others know the risks they're taking. Sharona, would we be able to put these safety measures in place?
I think Baudelaire must, or he at the very least has suspicions.

Nothing new to report from me other than the fact that Newton is meant to try out some different therapies to see if he can get any of his memories back.
