The University is ending my sabbatical, they've ask that I'm back by the Fall to teach. I can push back, I don't really give a fuck about what they want, but if I'm honest...I miss it. I came here for Byron and to expose my father, and with Byron moving on with his degree I think it's time.

But I'm not making any decisions without you, because I don't really fancy the without you bit. So this is me asking what your plans are.

Well that's fair about Brook. It's really not far from me, especially not with portals, but if this is an opportunity for you to live there with her then you should take it. I get that.

As for your brother - obviously I like them both (don't tell Briar I said that) but I'd like space that's for us. Doesn't mean they can't be there nearly all the time anyway, just not living there.

And me saying no to my place doesn't mean they can't live in the next house over. Down the street. Across the field if they want to do that. Don't you think they'd want their own home too?

There's a portal on my property. We can connect it to Brook's place, as like a stop.

It's big. Well [...] how about you three move near Brook, get that time with her and settle into living here in the UK. You can see me as much or as little as you want, and you and Briar can reconnect more.

We give it some more time, and if it's still what you want, you could move in with me. Briar and Keda decide what that looks like for them too. No one needs to rush into anything.
