How much difference could it make if I put them back where there were already more of them, though?

It's like the same thing but opposite, right? What if they mate with somebody and there's a whole genetic line or whatever that wasn't supposed to be there or like interrupt a line that wouldn't have happened if they weren't there

or they get territorial and kill another saber tooth cat that's nosing on their territory or eat the wrong antelope or something!! I don't know if this is all Scientific or even likely but that story really left an impression on me!!!
