I stayed in Crete for a while. I would not quite say that it was a villa. It was too small for that. There were enough levels that you could curl up somewhere and be by yourself when it pleased you, but not so many that you could not find where company had gone off to.

But, practically, a larger home with common areas. Or there is always the option of property with several smaller (or larger again, should that suit someone better) homes close to one another.

There are still good things about less than wonderful places. You can keep those parts and then figure out what is as far away from the others as possible. Theoretically.

You do not have to rush, if you are uncertain. You can always find someplace to keep it until you know what you want to do. Byron could probably make a very effective safe, if asked.
