Has anyone heard of Merlinnials (Millenials4Merlin.geocities.org)? Apparently some fuckwit charlatan claims he's Merlin reincarnated and has been performing magical "miracles" for all his followers.
The Society for Merlin reached out to me after they couldn't get a hold of [...] Bonaventure. They've asked for our help.

Briar and Cinder had a good thought about whether Scantlebury has been acting alone in the disappearances. It may mean nothing, but I pulled a few records from the archives and Jameson Standards, Yana Getgood, and Hippolyta Pottebaum have all been here since the first iteration. At the very least, they must know something.

We shouldn't leave this unfinished business with Dorr too much longer, especially given everything that's going on.

Merlinnials is a pretty good name so I can see how people could get wrapped up into it.
[NPEM]
Snooping it is. Maybe we need to look at employee records and try to find anyone who isn't currently in management but also isn't missing.

Well then you'll love their leader's name: Merl Innis. The Society for Merlin says that Merl has been taking advantage of Section 365 of the Canadian Criminal Code being repealed.
[NPEM]
I'll look to Sharona for any current employee records. I'm going to continue to have a look in the archives in case we can determine any other linkages to them and the missing - I do think we need to speak with Baudelaire.

Yea, he definitely changed his name for this. How does one go about defeating a fake Merlin?
[NPEM]
She'll be back from her HR training today so it's good timing. I think she has Baudelaire's contact info too.

Identifying what he is exactly is a good first step, but each new piece of information I find makes me want to bleach my brain.
[NPEM]
Great, I'll reach out to Elliot as well. He was more than happy to help us the last time.

[NPEM]
Yes, he certainly was.
[Broderick]
And, also, how are you doing?
no subject
[NPEM]
Ha, ha.
[Maya]
I'm fine, as much as one can be given the current situation. You?

[NPEM]
I just want it to be noted that I held back.
[Broderick]
I imagine other people are asking and don't want to force you into the same conversation but I'm always happy to be an ear if you need to talk about anything.
I'm happy for Sharona get back. It feels weird to have learned everything we did this week and be on my own in this apartment.

[NPEM]
Barely.
[Maya]
Thanks Maya, I do appreciate it. I'm just trying to stay focused and not let my temper get the better of me until after everything - fair warning then.
You can always hang out around
oumine if you want to. Have you heard from Sharona while she's been away?no subject
[Broderick]
After everything I think we should plan to get really drunk and find a way to let your simmering temper out.
Thanks. I haven't really heard much from her. And I kinda didn't want to tell her everything that has happened while she's been away in case it made her feel like she needed to come back.

You ever been to one of those rage rooms?
She's been doing so much, taken on a lot of responsibility in a short period of time. It's sweet of you to look out for her like that. Speaking of sweet ...

[Broderick]
I actually haven't been to one. Have you?
You'll have to be more specific with your "speaking of sweet" transition.

[Maya]
No, but I've been told by a number of people to go to one. It didn't sound like a friendly suggestion so much as a demand.
Asher. You and Asher.
Broya.
He's been good company while I have been without a roommate.

Oh so you don't need the invite to come over to
ourmy place at all then.Broya.
I still appreciate the invite and will be taking you up on it. How was your date?
Broya.
