Has anyone heard of Merlinnials (Millenials4Merlin.geocities.org)? Apparently some fuckwit charlatan claims he's Merlin reincarnated and has been performing magical "miracles" for all his followers.

The Society for Merlin reached out to me after they couldn't get a hold of [...] Bonaventure. They've asked for our help.

Briar and Cinder had a good thought about whether Scantlebury has been acting alone in the disappearances. It may mean nothing, but I pulled a few records from the archives and Jameson Standards, Yana Getgood, and Hippolyta Pottebaum have all been here since the first iteration. At the very least, they must know something.

We shouldn't leave this unfinished business with Dorr too much longer, especially given everything that's going on.

I do rather like his fire guitar. Though it does seem a little impractical, musically speaking.

Full offense intended, but Mr. Scantlebury does not seem like the type to be acting alone in most anything, considering his propensity toward making you retrieve his food for him like a vastly overqualified gofer. Unless, of course, that is also part of a larger grift. In which case, hats off to an Oscar-worthy performance.

Wasting an entire guitar for pantomime, for shame. Do you think he has one of his cult members playing the real thing for him? Or merely a recording?

[NPEM]
You are right, perhaps three-quarters offense. One must be careful to leave some offense available for later. And it is merely that he does not show a great talent for self-restraint. Or management.

Has he moved on to the part where he wishes for several wives or are we still only playing around in the 'watch me perform miraculous feats' stage?

[NPEM]
He has not been overly responsible for us at all, to be honest.

Sick and, unfortunately, quite common for cult leaders.

It is not my favorite thing to be collected like, I will admit.

Creative, certainly. I can find little fault in her interior decorating choices. But fae are often best trusted with great care. They can, at times, be rather fickle. (A quick side note: Before you say a word, Briar, I am not calling myself fickle. I am unfairly generalizing an entire and multifaceted species.)

I'll call you fickle, then. And rude, with all that generalizing.

I was not inviting you to do so. Quite the opposite, actually. But as it is already done, do you think it more rude to be impolite generally or specifically? Asking for myself.

I know, but I enjoy being a pain.

Generally, for sure.

Oh, I am well aware. And you do so excel at it, bir tanem.

In that case, sometimes I cannot stand you specifically.

Been practicing my whole life.

The feeling's mutual.
